International Knowledge Centre (IKnCentre)

Activities of IKnCentre

The International Knowledge Centre (IKnCentre) will serve as a hub for knowledge-sharing and innovation, providing resources and expertise to local communities and policymakers working to address these challenges. By promoting pragmatic, evidence-based solutions, this centre will play a vital role in overcoming the divisions and inequalities that continue to hold back the development of these nations. This initiative represents a continuation of African Asian Studies Promotion Association (AASF) longstanding commitment to fostering cooperation, education, and sustainable development across Africa and Asia.

The AASF has made a significant contribution to overcoming the ideological and cultural divisions exacerbated by the Cold War and colonial legacies. By providing a platform for education, dialogue, and collaboration, the AASF has helped shape a generation of leaders committed to pragmatic solutions and sustainable development. Its initiatives, from supporting students in Germany to fostering reintegration and establishing international collaborations, demonstrate the power of unity and shared purpose in building a better future.

As global challenges intensify, the AASF’s efforts in creating the International Knowledge Centre underscore its commitment to playing an active role in tackling pressing issues such as poverty, inequality, and underdevelopment, especially in countries like Ethiopia and Sudan, where these problems are most acute.

After decades of dedicated academic pursuits, the time has come to establish a robust framework through the International Knowledge Centre (IKnCentre) , where the practical exchange of knowledge is seamlessly integrated with its immediate application.

This initiative seeks to bridge the gap between theory and practice, unlocking the vast, untapped potential of knowledge from across the globe. By fostering collaboration among scholars, professionals, and innovators, the International Knowledge Centre will serve as a hub for interdisciplinary learning, real-time problem-solving, and transformative innovation. Through this platform, we aim to harness collective intelligence, drive meaningful progress, and ensure that valuable insights are not only shared but also effectively implemented for the betterment of society.
